Delivery from E.L.F & 20% off code

I ordered some products from eyeslipsface.co.uk the other week because one, I received a 20% off voucher in my Bloggers Boutique goodie bag and two, I haven't purchased any elf products since my first order with them back in October 2010. This post is showing you what I bought rather than a review, but if you'd like me to review a particular item than do let me know!
High Definition Powder in Clear, £6

I had heard a lot of good things about the HD powder, so as a person who uses powder in my daily makeup routine I had to give this a go and see what all the hype is about. I use the Boots No7 Perfect loose powder (buy here) in Translucent, I have done for years and nothing has been able to knock it off my top spot, but at £11 a go I am constantly looking for cheaper options, maybe in this case it is a matter of getting what you pay for *sigh*.
(top to bottom) Studio Matt Lip Colour in Coral & Tea Rose, £3.75 each
I love, love, love matte lipsticks - you wouldn't see me dead in a gloss! In my Bloggers Boutique goodie bag I received an Elf Matte Lip Color in Natural and I admit, I didn't have high hopes for this product considering I have tried many natural lip colours by Mac in a matte finish and always disliked them, but Elf didn't disappoint. After falling in love with one of the Elf Matte Lip Color's I needed more in my life which is mainly the reason I made this order. I bought more in the colours 'Tea Rose' and 'Coral' which are both lovely.
Eyebrow Lifter and Filler in Ash/Ivory, £3.75

I don't wear a lot of makeup but recently I have been obsessed with trying to make my usual 'natural' looking makeup look it's best without making it go from natural to cakey; defining my eyebrows seemed like the direction to go in. I bought a couple of eyebrow products, the first being the eyebrow lifter and filler which for £3.75 is a bargain considering it has one end for highlighting the eyebrow, another end for filling in the eyebrow and a sharpener built into one of the lids, which is always handy.
Eyebrow Treat and Tame in Ash, £3.75

The second eyebrow product I bought is the eyebrow treat and tame which is definitely my favourite one out of the two. It comes with a serum to 'treat' your eyebrows which I probably won't use but the 'tame' part comes with a mascara like brush, making it easy to brush through your eyebrows, evenly coating them. As this product coats your eyebrows rather than fills them in, it is perfect for those wanting to define their eyebrows without making it look unnatural whilst setting them in place.
Matt Finisher Clear Nail Polish, £2.50

I have wanted to try out a matte finisher nail polish for a while now; always liked the concept but never been a huge fan of the outcome, yet I couldn't resist trying it out for myself. When I have some time on my hands I want to use the polish over a black nail polish and add metallic gold tips! Have you got any good combinations for matte nail polishes?
Studio Makeup Mist and Set, £3.75

For a long time now I have wanted to invest in a setting mist, for those long days or nights out when I want my makeup to last longer than usual. My main reason for not purchasing a makeup setting mist has been the price, as most I have come across don't seem worth the money for something that may not make a huge difference and therefore, I have always found something more fulfilling to spend my money on, like shoes! As I was already ordering from Elf and this product is less than £4 I couldn't not bung it in my basket; although the bottle is a lot smaller than I imagined, but that'll teach me not to look at the measurements.

Hope you enjoyed seeing what I got from Elf and if you would like me to haul more things on my blog than let me know. For those of you itching to make an Elf order than today is your lucky day! The 20% off code that I was given to use is available for my subscribers/followers to use for some guilt free shopping; I shall leave the code and info at the end of the post but hurry because the code runs out soon.

  5. I love E.L.F. products! They are fantastic for the price you pay, let's just say I tend to purchase a lot of from E.l.f mainly their lips colors and nail varnishes. I'm really glad you liked the matte lip colors, they truly last a while when wearing. I tend to wear them to work when I want a lasting lip color since I get one break with my shift and I usually don't take them so I can't touch my make-up up. So they are great. What I do with HD powder is put it over all of my make-up except for my eye make-up and my eye brow make up. I dust it over my already set foundation with translucent powder, blush, and highlight it just makes it all look really nice.
I think you might like the baked blushes, they are fantastic for the price and great for summer. I'm not sure if you are a fan of shimmer, but it has enough shimmer in it to act as a highlight. I recently purchased them and fell in love.
I'm glad I found your youtube channel and your blog! Keep up with the fantastic work!

  8. I have the mist and set, it's quite good but makes your face so wet when you first spray it! I find myself waiting for it to dry for a while before I leave the house because otherwise I fear someone will ask what on earth happened!
