Diesel Sheer Knitted Maxi Dress at ASOS • RiRi Loves

diesel: sheer knitted maxi dress, £100 at asos

As soon as I saw this sheer maxi dress on ASOS (buy here) I took an instant liking to it but then realised the price and thought I best put my purse away - I still wanted to share it with you lovelies though! The dress is made from a lightweight viscose and linen blend fabric and has been cut with a column fit, which basically means it is a straight up and down shape. Initially most people would shy away from a dress like this as it doesn't seem easy to style, so that is where I come in and to tell you it isn't as hard as you first thought.

I love the way ASOS have styled the maxi dress is the photos above but I reckon you'd get too many odd looks if you were to casually stroll down to the supermarket like that, so why not cover up a little more with a black slip like this one from Nasty Gal which will leave you with just your arms and legs subtly showing through the sheer knit. Add a pair of Docs or some heeled chelsea boots and you're ready to rocks this dress. For a more summery, feminine vibe go for either a neon or pastel coloured slip or a floral slip to brighten up the grunge feel of this dress.

How would you style this sheer knitted maxi dress?

  7. I've had my eyes on this dress for a really long time too! The price is just extortionate though, £100 is absolutely ridiculous! x
