Audrey Hepburn Returns with New Galaxy Campaign

On Friday 22nd, I was invited by Galaxy Chocolate to have a breakfast at The Ritz in London along with press and other fellow bloggers. As you can imagine I was very excited even if I did have to leave mine at six in the morning, I wasn't going to turn down breakfast at The Ritz and it was just as beautiful and fancy as I had imagined. The reason behind this breakfast was to have a sneak peek at Galaxy's new advertising campaign which will air for the first time on Sunday 24th February during Mr. Selfridge at 9pm, on ITV.

Galaxy want to bring a vintage vibe to the brand and therefore using cutting edge post-production CGI techniques, Galaxy have been able to bring the new 'Galaxy Girl' Audrey Hepburn, to life. The advert is set in the 1950s on Italy's Amalfi Coast, shot it a beatifully romantic and classy way, and who better to have as the new 'Galaxy Girl' than Audrey Hepburn, who is the epitome of grace and sophistication.

“Our mother often spoke about her love of chocolate and how it lifted her spirit so we're sure she would have been proud of her role as the face of GALAXY®. The advert perfectly captures her playful spirit and we hope audiences enjoy it as much as they enjoyed her movies" - Sean Ferrer and Luca Dotti, Audrey Hepburn’s Sons

Guess what? I have the preview of the advert for you to see for yourself before it airs on the television!

What do you think of the new Galaxy advertising campaign?

  13. The advert is very clever and a good advert however I'm not sure galaxy chocolate is the best use for the iconic Audrey Hepburn, she's so classy.
It is 20 years since her death and she is back on screens to advertise a chocolate bar? and I'm sure her sons got quite a substantial amount of money for it. I did enjoy the advert as I enjoy any Audrey Hepburn film, just do not think it is appropriate.
A wonderful experience for you though, I hope you had a great time. :)

  16. Teen fashion consistently changes every now and then hence for someone going through the start of puberty, style is more important than the quality and durability of clothes to wear. Dictated by personality, teen fashion is hardly stationary in most seasons. You probably have noticed your teenager to look differently from time to time. Not to mention the ever fickle minded personality.
