I wanted to share some of my autumn essentials; the items I reach for often as the nights draw darker and the bits that get me through the frosty mornings. I also bought an adorable pair of slippers from White Stuff last week so it's a good excuse to show them off. Incase you're wondering, I do own each and every piece mentioned below and I love 'em all.
Topshop Boutique Jumper | Rewined Candle | John Lewis Blanket | ASOS Pumpkin Beanie | John Lewis Hot Water Bottle | Wildflower by Drew Barrymore | Take One Veg by Georgina Fuggle | White Stuff Slippers | Neal's Yard Hand Cream in Mint & Bergamot | ASOS Bobble Beanie | Apple TV | Teapigs Peppermint Tea | Bhs I Love Coffee Mug
Classic Knits: I've had to hold off wearing my new Topshop Boutique jumper everyday (of course, it's striped)
Festive Candles: I bought some Rewined Candles in Scotland and not only do they look lovely, they smell devine too
Beanies: I couldn't live without beanies during autumn/winter and yes, I do own this ASOS pumpkin beanie (if you're after something more wearable, you may prefer this bobble bat)
Blankets: Frankly, I don't want to spend a fortune on my gas bill during the colder months so a fluffy blanket is a must for cosy nights on the sofa (mine is from John Lewis)
Hot Water Bottle: Mine is again from John Lewis and it's the best thing to snuggle up with in bed (shhh.. don't tell my boyfriend)
Something To Read: Spending more time indoors means I read a little more than usual (at the moment I'm loving Wildflower by Drew Barrymore and Take One Veg for some autumnal cooking inspiration)
Hand Cream: I use hand cream more than ever during autumn/winter and my favourite is from Neal's Yard
Slippers: I've not worn slippers since I was a child but I fell in love with these pom pom slippers from White Stuff and as I write this they're keeping my tootsies oh, so warm!
Apple TV: I admit I didn't think I'd be a fan but it's a way of sending anything you're doing on your laptop to your television wirelessly (no need to faff with HDMI cables) - perfect for all those raining days!
Tea: I'm more of a coffee drinker but I do crave herbal tea lots this time of year - probably because it's a great way of keeping warm without over doing it on caffeine (my all-time favourite is Teapigs Peppermint)
